I used to be one of those people who would not even bother to paint my nails, but as I got older I noticed that having a well manicured hand goes a long way in terms of looking presentable. These days I have been gravitating towards Essie nail polishes for their pastel shades. I do not wear many colorful shades of nail polish just because I feel like it does not suit my skin tone nor do I do anything fancy with my nails just because I always keep them quite short (having long nails makes it difficult for me to draw, type on the computer and sew). Just to throw it out there, I do have to use two coats of nail polish to get the pastel colors to be more opaque.
With Spring greeting us quite early into the year, I am loving a minty green, a lovely nude and a toned down pink for my choice of nail polish colors. I am always up to try new brands so if you have a favorite, do let me know!
